We offer full manufacturer training on all of our Dark Matter aircraft (typically 1 full day) so our customers can become familiar with the aircraft assembly, flight characteristics and controls.
This conversion-to-type training is conducted by our most knowledgeable and experienced aircraft engineer and enables pilots to become confident with their new purchase.

Drone operations are split in 3 categories according to the risk they pose to uninvolved people on the ground and other aircraft mostly.
Depending on what category you want to operate in, and in what country, you will require different level of training.
The National Aviation Authority of that country will be the best place to find out everything you need to know about drone regulations.
Our aircraft fit in the 2-25kg small unmanned aircraft category and with respectively 15kg and 18kg maximum take-off mass, both with a diameter of less than 3m. They can be used for all kind of applications and will be seen operating in the Open Category A3 or Specific Category at the moment when operated on batteries.

With standard manufacturer training we focus on items specific to the Dark Matter platform, such as assembly/ disassembly, airworthiness checks, Ground Control Station (GCS) software for basic settings & mission planning. We will cover topics such as how to program failsafes like return to launch (RTL).
It also provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions around the aircraft or operations.
